Fastransit Communications recently celebrated its ninth successful year in business providing Ashe & Alleghany Counties an alternative to the local phone companies service. Peak Connect, a division of Fastransit, was established in October 2000, to bring high speed Internet access to the rural mountains of northwestern North Carolina.
